Southern Mix is an ambitious oral history project that aims to collect and preserve the untold stories of Asians and Asian Americans living in the American South. This initiative seeks to shed light on the diverse experiences, struggles, and triumphs of a community that has often been overlooked in the region’s historical narratives. Our goal is to ensure that these stories are not lost or forgotten, but rather celebrated and shared with the world.
